Celebrate the serenity of snow with the Winter Landscapes Forever® stamps from the U.S, Postal Service.The booklet of 20 stamps showcases 5 photographs of frozen scenes: striking red barns set against a snowy scene (dohn Moore.photographer); a long fence bounded by tall trees and laden with snow-covered branches (juanita Philips, photographer;evergreens shrouded in snow (Katherine Plessner, photographer; a mass of icicles suspended against a fiery sunset and backdropof frozen waves (Carson O’Ffil photographer); and a house surrounded by frosty pines and set against a deep pastel sky (lMikeBlottenberger, photographer).
Art director Ethel Kessler designed the stamps with existing photographs.The Winter Landscapes stamps are being issued as Forever® stamps in booklets of 20. These Forever stamps will always beequal in value to the curent First-Class Mail® one-ounce price.
